CAR/LAR can be added to the check processing system allowing for faster processing. CAR/LAR will electronically scan the Courtesy Amount Written box (CAR) and the Legal Amount Written (LAR) line located on each check and, with amazing accuracy and high percent of completion, determine the amount the check was written for.

The CAR/LAR process eliminates the manual entry of each check's amount by determining the written amount of the check.

By saving just 2 seconds of manual entry on each check, a school processing 1,000 checks a week could save 25 hours of staff time each year.

The "Do Not Accept Check" feature allows the school to stop a specific check from entering the system based on closed accounts or the desire not to accept further checks from a specific parent due to collection issues.
