"e~Funds For Schools"
School Benefits
Cost Savings
This unique program has been designed specifically for schools and can be implemented at virtually no cost to the school. The "e~Funds For Schools" program allows parents to pay the school by having their personal checking account or credit card electronically debited, thereby eliminating checks and cash they now send to the school.
By reducing the number of checks and the amount of cash the school staff must manage, the school will save money.
Cost Control Flexibility
The "e~Funds For Schools" program allows the school to choose from two cost cutting options:
1. The school can provide this new convenient payment service and require the parent to pay for using the electronic payment service.
2. The school can provide the service to all parents at a reduced price.
Enhancement to School's Accounting Program
The "e~Funds For Schools" program has a fully automated collection, tracking, and recording of funds received, for all school functions. The program includes an interface into the school's accounting system. Student activity and payment history reports are standard. Cash flow projections and payment forecasting reports are also included. All payment files and reports are easily accessible via the integrated "e~Funds For Schools" website.
Multiple Payment Options Available To Parents
Parents can select payments by credit card, debit card, or from their checking account. The parent can initiate each payment or ask the school to place them on the "e~Funds For Schools" automated, reoccurring payment service. Payments can be made through the school's website or standard touch-tone phone toll free service.
Credit Card Acceptance
The school may accept payment via credit card. Because the "e~Funds For Schools" service is a third party program arrangements can be made allowing the school to receive the full amount due the school, eliminating the discount fee a school would normally pay when accepting payment via credit card.
Automatic NSF Check Representment
If a parent's payment is returned as NSF the "e~Funds For Schools" program will automatically retry the payment helping the school to save more time and money.
Declining Balances and Reoccurring Payments
The "e~Funds For Schools" program can be integrated into the school's lunch program. When the students lunch fund account runs low on funds, a pre-determined agreed upon amount, will be taken from the parent's checking or credit card account automatically. The parent is advised of the payment by letter or via automatic email notification.
For parents who cannot pay the school in full for items such as tuition or sports activities the school can use the "e~Funds For Schools" declining balance program to establish an automated payment program. With this feature the school enters the total amount that needs to be collected, the start date of the first withdrawal and the frequency the system is to collect payments i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. The "e~Funds For Schools" service will begin collecting payments and will automatically stop when the total balance is collected.
Payment Tracking
The "e~Funds For Schools" program will track payments by school function, classroom, lunch program or any activity the school needs to monitor. The school can quickly review the payment history of any student, making research on outstanding payments quick and easy.
